Comcast Cable Minnesota brings Black Music America Digital Channel to its digital cable lineup channel 937 in Minneapolis and St.Paul. The new combined digital music channel will feature a 24-hour mix of adult urban music including the nation’s #1 rated urban morning show hosted by Tom Joyner. “BMA Digital Channel/Twin Cities will present video billboards advertising small businesses, local and national information, entertainment news and artist spotlights 24-hours a day. BMA music is provided by WRNB Cable Radio celebrating its 22st year of service in the Twin Cities. Pete and Kimberly Bedell-Rhodes, founders and owners of The Minnesota Black Music Awards, BlackMusicAmerica.Com, and Urban Mass Media Group launched the station in 1984. BMA Digital Channel mission is to provide variety in Black Music, and entertainment and information to the African American Community and consumers of Black Music.
